Announcer Guy was gracious enough back in January to give me permission to color one of her pieces of Artwork, I was preoccupied with classes but now I'm looking at her piece 'Super DragonBall Z' (based on the game) I removed Android 16 in favour for Majin Buu and Videl (who are present in the home console versions of the game). So far all I've done is re-inked the picture, I'm still looking at finishing up Turles before I start the colors on this. Give me your thoughts.

You got to tell me how to do this decent Inking you did. I'm trying to make me Inked drawing to have a smooth line, but it's always bumpy; it's never smooth. So, how long did it took you? What kind of pen you used? Any tips?

-Gohan vs Mujin Buu-
Buu: So hot shot, you want to fight Mujin Buu?

Gohan: Fight you? No, I want to kill you.

The inking, I probably spent two hours on.
I do my inking a lot of different ways depending on what I want.
The best way for me (which is also the longest way, the digital way) is to make two layers, one of your rough pencil lines and one for your new inks. To make your lines straight I usually use the polygonal lasso tool on Adobe Photoshop CS3 and start to shape out borders for the line-art.
The alternate method, which is much faster and almost just as good is to make sure you have a dark pen, a bright page (not many smudges), and a good scanner, your lines will still be bumpy, but again use the polygonal lasso tool and shape out some borders and use eraser tools so you can clean up the lineart and make it look almost like a coloring book by the time it's done. I'll have to do a tutorial one day, but I have to figure out how to speed up my art process first.

Science would have us to believe that we have nearly lost our animal instincts, but with discipline training, you can uncage them, and turn a man into a weapon [link]
